Earlier this year, British progressive metal outfit TesseracT announced a big North America tour in support of their most recent full-length LP, Polaris, which followed their successful Altered State LP. Altered State saw the band incorporating a new vocalist after the departure of Daniel Tompkins, who has since rejoined the project. With a stop at Chop Suey in Seattle next Wednesday, the tour will mark TesseracT’s first Seattle appearance since their infamous tour with Intronaut and bedroom progressive metal solo project Cloudkicker, who played his first ever live shows on these dates with members of Intronaut providing accompaniment.
Progressive death metal band The Contortionist will open the show, whose latest record was released to a positive reception from the progressive metal community. Support will come from metalcore outfits Erra and Skyharbor. Fans of modern metal won’t wanna miss out on this one.
