Looking for an alternative to Seattle’s overwhelmingly huge Bumbershoot Festival? Looking for a band so hip you can say you knew them when? Then look no further than the annual Capitol Hill Block Party, a three-day indie music extravaganza July 25-27 featuring headliners A$AP Rocky, Spoon and Chromeo.
The event takes place in six closed blocks of Seattle’s Capitol Hill, with two outdoor stages and events at the bars and restaurants within the closed off area.
This year’s musical acts include A$AP Rocky, Chromeo, Matt and Kim, the War on Drugs, Odesza, Sol, A$AP Ferg, Beat Connection, Star Slinger, Spoon, Budos Band, Tanlines, XXYYXX, Angel Olsen, Poolside, Cymbals, and Shy Girls.
Three-day passes for the festival are $125 in advance, with individual day paces at $50 in advance, $60 day of show. Visit the Capitol Hill Block Party website.
