The New Waterfront Festival on October 4 at the Seattle waterfront is a free, collaborative event made possible by City of Seattle entities, non-profit organizations, Waterfront businesses, and the community of Seattle. Intended to increase awareness and to gain consumer support for businesses during Seawall construction throughout the fall and winter of 2014/15, NWF is also a platform for all Seattle businesses to be seen and heard as a united force that can make a difference.
Great food awaits: Fisherman’s Restaurant & Highway 99 Blues Club are teaming up all day to serve you the best food on the Waterfront. Enjoy a salmon bake, BBQ, and home-cooked Cajun style servings to fill your belly and keep you fueled to enjoy the day.
NWF is proud to showcase some of the Seattle’s favorite artists! From 2p – 6p on October 4 the Pier Stage will feature Stephanie Anne Johnson, McTuff, ChebonChebon, Geoffrey Castle, and Grammy Award-winning Wanz. At 7p Vaudeville Etiquette feat. Barrett Martin will take the Light Show Stage and perform a 45-minute set to a bright and shiny spectacle on the Great Wheel.
NWCZ Radio will broadcast live from Waterfront Park all day. They will air all band performances, provide you with exclusive interviews with #nwf delegates, and continue to give you the best independent music around. NWCZ will also air the Vaudeville Etiquette performance in real-time so that if you can see the Great Wheel, you can listen to the show anywhere!
