Ladies and gentlemen, welcome, welcome, to 75 Bands in 75 Days, where we bring you the best talent that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, one day and one band at a time. Today we’re going full-on alt-rock with our next band, Spokane, Washington’s Lust for Glory.
Lust for Glory is a three-piece rock band from Spokane (Portland originally) consisting of Scott Carr on drums, Kat Anderson on bass, and Sean Genereaux on guitar and vocals. Together the trio takes a very lo-fi and noisy approach to contemporary alternative rock brought on by the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood and Them Crooked Vultures. If you dig any of those artists, you may want to look into Lust for Glory‘s music.
Lust for Glory has two full-length albums under their belt, American Soniscope and Blue Idle, the latter of which was released in May of this year. Both are recommended if you’re into contemporary alt-rock and aren’t turned off by a lo-fi aesthetic. You can stream and/or purchase both albums here.
