Welcome to the 10th day of the 2015 50 Bands in 50 Days, where we’re shining our spotlights on the best talent that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, one day and one band at a time, brought to you by GigTown. Today, we’re shining down on a Seattle band by the name of The Bitter Roots.
Formed in Seattle in 2008, The Bitter Roots have captured the hearts of the local rock scene with their soulful, mid-paced approach to alternative rock. Their high efforts have landed the band a two-time 99.9 KISW’s Loud and Local Band of the Week award. The band’s fourth studio LP, Noise Vibrations and Fumes, was released in March of this year, and was well-received by the band’s deserved fan-base, and charted on college radio stations all across the United States.
For those that like what they hear and wanna be the Bitter Roots live, the band is playing a 90-minute set at a holiday concert at Tim’s Tavern on December 5th. Make sure you don’t miss out on seeing one of the best rock bands out of Seattle live and in the moment!
